German immersion
German immersion from kindergarten
Located at the heart of a region naturally turned towards Europe, Ei3F gives a central place to learning German. Our aim is to enable pupils to develop real linguistic and cultural skills in a dynamic of European and international openness.
Kindergarten: discover the language naturally
From kindergarten, pupils benefit from 4 hours of German per week. Through playful activities, songs, games and exchange times, children develop their ear, pronunciation and familiarity with the language. This early immersion fosters natural, progressive acquisition.
From Year 2: progress in ability groups
From Year 2, German teaching is organised in homogeneous ability groups, allowing each pupil to progress at their own pace. This organisation fosters: progression adapted to each person's level, better oral participation, reinforcement of written and grammatical skills. Pupils thus consolidate their linguistic foundations while developing real confidence in expression.
Middle school: deepen and master
In middle school, pupils continue their learning in homogeneous ability groups: beginner, intermediate, expert. This approach allows targeted, demanding teaching adapted to each pupil's real level. The aim is to achieve solid mastery of German, both oral and written, and to prepare pupils to thrive in an international academic or professional environment.
A real trilingual asset
Thanks to 4 hours of German per week from kindergarten and structured progression through to middle school, our school offers a complete linguistic path. Combined with French–English bilingualism, this immersion makes Ei3F a resolutely trilingual establishment, preparing its pupils to become open, confident and mobile European citizens.
